The Motorola edge has a global score of 89.6, which is much better than LG V40 ThinQ's overall score of 81.2. Both phones in our current comparison use the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). Motorola edge's construction is newer than the LG V40 ThinQ's, although it is heavier and thicker. LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit better processing power than Motorola edge. Both have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a little more vivid display than Motorola edge, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and more pixels per inch of screen. Motorola edge counts with a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory capacity.

Motorola edge counts with superior battery performance than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 36 percent greater battery size. The Motorola edge counts with a much better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has lower video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting pictures or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the Motorola edge also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a way higher resolution camera.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V40 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Motorola edge, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the LG V40 ThinQ, giving up some specs and features.
