Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 50 Pro's score of 86.3. The Motorola edge construction is noticeably older, a little heavier and somewhat thicker than the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS, but the Motorola edge has the older 10 version and Motorola Edge 50 Pro has Android 14 version.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a more vivid screen than Motorola edge, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little bit more pixels per screen inch. Motorola edge has a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has only 256 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.

The Motorola edge counts with a way better processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Motorola edge and Motorola Edge 50 Pro feature incredibly similar batteries duration. Motorola edge shoots slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which gives a worse photo and video quality and a much tinier aperture which is not good for capturing photographs in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola edge also counts with a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.
