Motorola edge has a general score of 89.6, which is a bit better than Galaxy A42's 87 score. The Motorola edge body is a little bit lighter but just a little thicker than Galaxy A42, and both were released with only 6 months difference. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Motorola edge has 10 version while Galaxy A42 has Android 11.
Motorola edge features a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a quite bigger screen, a higher quantity of pixels per display inch and a way higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Motorola edge has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Motorola edge also has 2 GB more RAM.
Motorola edge has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same video resolution, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola edge also has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
