The Motorola edge is slightly better than Galaxy A50, with a general score of 89.6 against 83.8. Even though the Motorola edge is newer than Galaxy A50, it's somewhat thicker and heavier. Motorola edge features a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Motorola edge also has more RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also counts with a bit higher pixels amount in each screen inch. The Motorola edge has a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A50, because it has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal memory.

Motorola edge has just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. The Motorola edge features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution, a lot better 64 MP resolution back-facing camera and a way larger back camera sensor.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A50. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Motorola edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A50, giving up some features and specifications.
