Comparison review

The Motorola edge is better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, having an 89.6 score against 76.3. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola edge has older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. Motorola edge is a incredibly heavier and thicker cellphone than Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

Galaxy Alpha counts with a processing unit that's very similar to Motorola edge's processor, because although the Galaxy Alpha has 4 less CPU cores and less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Alpha features a bit sharper display than Motorola edge, although it has a much smaller screen, a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a little worse display density.

The Motorola edge has a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 224 GB more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1000 GB. The Motorola edge counts with a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 142% more battery capacity.

The Motorola edge has a much better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Motorola edge also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light images and videos and a way more MP back camera.

The Motorola edge costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Alpha, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
