Comparison review

The Motorola edge is just a bit better than Galaxy Note 4, getting an 89.6 score against 81.6. Motorola edge's construction is much newer, but a little heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy Note 4. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola edge has 10 version while Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0 version, providing some additional features.

Galaxy Note 4 has a brighter screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a little better performance than Motorola edge, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and lesser cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processor.

Motorola edge takes way better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola edge also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better photography and video in low-light situations, a lot larger back camera sensor taking way better quality videos and photos and a camera with a much higher 64 mega pixels resolution.

The Motorola edge features a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 4, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 224 GB more internal storage capacity. The Motorola edge counts with a way better battery performance than Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note 4. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Motorola edge, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Note 4, giving up a couple features and specs.
