The Motorola edge has a general score of 89.6, which is much better than the Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 global score. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola edge has the newer 10 version while Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version. The Motorola edge construction is a lot newer, but somewhat thicker and a little heavier than the Galaxy Note 5.

Motorola edge counts with a better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. Galaxy Note 5 has a sharper display than Motorola edge, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.

The Motorola edge has a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola edge also has a bigger diafragm aperture, a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot higher 64 MP resolution camera in the back.

The Motorola edge has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 192 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that allows up to 1000 GB. Motorola edge features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

The Motorola edge costs more than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
