The Motorola edge is better than Samsung Galaxy S4, with a score of 89.6 against 79. Motorola edge's construction is extremely newer than Samsung Galaxy S4's, although it's much heavier and thicker. Both devices we are comparing use Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola edge has a newer 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4, providing the user some extra features.

Galaxy S4 counts with a more vivid screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a bit lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels density. Motorola edge features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S4, because it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB and 256 GB internal storage capacity.

Motorola edge counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more cpu cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Motorola edge features a much better camera than Galaxy S4, because it has a much higher resolution back-facing camera, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs, a larger aperture and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.

Motorola edge features a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S4, because it has a 73 percent more battery capacity.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S4. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S4, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
