Comparison review
The Motorola edge has a score of 89.6, which is better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active's global score of 80.9. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but Motorola edge has the newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0. The Galaxy S6 Active counts with a much better looking screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has just a little better performance than Motorola edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an extra graphics processing unit. Motorola edge counts with a lot better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Motorola edge also has a much better 64 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, a lot bigger sensor and a larger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos.
The Motorola edge features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 224 GB more internal storage. Motorola edge features longer battery life than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 29 percent more battery size.
Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Motorola edge, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, letting go a couple specifications.
