Comparison review

The Motorola edge is just a bit better than Galaxy S8, having an 89.6 score against 81.7. Even though the Motorola edge is way newer than Galaxy S8, it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. The Motorola edge counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Motorola edge also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

Galaxy S8 has a better looking display than Motorola edge, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960px resolution and a greater pixels count per inch in the screen. The Motorola edge features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 256 GB internal storage capacity.

Motorola edge features a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 50% more battery capacity. The Motorola edge shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola edge also counts with a way more mega pixels back-facing camera and a way bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Motorola edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S8, letting go a couple features and specifications.
