Comparison review

The Motorola edge has a general score of 89.6, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S9's 83.3 score. Although the Motorola edge is much newer than the Galaxy S9, it's somewhat heavier and thicker. The Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a little better processing power than Motorola edge, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

Samsung Galaxy S9 has a better looking screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960. Motorola edge features a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has more internal storage and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.

The Motorola edge counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy S9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. Motorola edge captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S9, because although it has worse video frame rate and a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Motorola edge also counts with a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels and a much larger sensor providing a way higher image quality.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S9. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy S9, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
