Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a score of 94.6, which is just a bit better than the Motorola edge's score of 89.6. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a newer 11 version and Motorola edge has Android 10, so it provides the user some additional features. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Motorola edge were released only a couple months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is heavier but also extremely thinner than the Motorola edge.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a little bit better processing power than Motorola edge, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little sharper display than Motorola edge, because although it has a little worse display density, it also counts with a higher 1768 x 2208 resolution and a little bigger screen.

The Motorola edge captures better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola edge also counts with a larger sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs and a back facing camera with way more MP.

Motorola edge features a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Z Fold 2, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal storage, the Motorola edge also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a battery life that's just as good as Motorola edge's battery life.

Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola edge. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola edge, letting go a couple specifications.
