Comparison review

Motorola edge is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1, having a general score of 89.6 against 82.6. The Motorola edge is a newer phone than Sony Xperia 1, although it is just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. The Sony Xperia 1 has a better screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better screen density and a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels.

The Sony Xperia 1 has a bit more powerful processor than Motorola edge. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM memory. The Motorola edge counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia 1, because it has 128 GB more internal storage and an external SD slot that admits up to 1000 GB.

Motorola edge features a much better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing images and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola edge also counts with faster 30 fps video frame rate, a much more megapixels back camera and a way larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.

The Motorola edge counts with superior battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
