Comparison review

The Motorola edge is slightly better than Sony Xperia 5 II, getting a score of 89.6 against 87.2. Despite being the best in this comparison, it must be told that it's also thicker and somewhat heavier. The Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a bit sharper display than Motorola edge, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520.

The Xperia 5 II has just a bit better hardware performance than Motorola edge, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM. Motorola edge has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia 5 II, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB, the Motorola edge also has 256 GB internal memory capacity.

Motorola edge shoots better photos and videos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low-light images and video and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a 0.59 inches camera sensor, the Motorola edge also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back.

Motorola edge features just a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Motorola edge is also a lot cheaper, making this phone an obvious call.
