The Motorola edge is better than the Xperia Z5 Premium, having a overall score of 89.6 against 79.8. Motorola edge's body is notably newer, but somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier than the Xperia Z5 Premium. Both devices we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but Motorola edge has newer 10 version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version.

Xperia Z5 Premium features a way better looking display than Motorola edge, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a lot higher pixels number per inch of display. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a CPU that is very similar to Motorola edge's processor, because although the Xperia Z5 Premium has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, it also counts with an extra graphics processor.

The Motorola edge features a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has an external memory slot that holds up to 1000 GB and 256 GB internal memory capacity. Motorola edge counts with greater battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

The Motorola edge takes much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Motorola edge also has a way bigger back camera sensor taking lot better quality photographs and videos and a camera in the back with a lot higher 64 mega-pixels resolution.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Motorola edge is also a bit cheaper, which makes buying this phone a simple decision.
