Comparison review
The Motorola edge has a general score of 89.6, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 overall score. Even though Motorola edge and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were released with only a couple of months difference, the Motorola edge design is just a little bit thicker but also somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola edge has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11.
Motorola edge has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Motorola edge also has 2 GB more RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Motorola edge count with quite similar screens, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a just a little greater pixel number per screen inch and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px, they both have a same size screen.
Motorola edge has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has 192 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a little better battery lifetime than Motorola edge, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
The Motorola edge features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Motorola edge also has a camera with a much better resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality photographs and videos.
Although Motorola edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Motorola edge, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, resigning a couple specifications.
