The Samsung Galaxy J8 is slightly better than the Moto E40, with a overall score of 76.7 against 71.8. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy J8 has older 10 version while Moto E40 has Android 11 version. Galaxy J8's processing unit is just as good as Motorola Moto E40's CPU, they have a Octa-Core CPU and a 4 GB RAM memory.

Galaxy J8 and Moto E40 both feature quite similar displays, because although the Galaxy J8 has a bit lower 720 x 1480px resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel density.
