The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is a bit better than Moto E40, getting a score of 75.8 against 71.8. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has newer 8.0 Oreo version while Moto E40 has Android 11 version. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with just a bit better performance than Moto E40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a much better looking screen than Moto E40, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels number per display inch and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2160px. The Moto E40 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture and a way more megapixels back facing camera.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto E40, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Motorola Moto E40 has better battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
