Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Moto E7 Plus has Android 10. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro design is somewhat lighter and thinner than Moto E7 Plus, despite of the fact that it was released 4 years before.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit superior CPU than Moto E7 Plus, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has more RAM. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with an incredibly better looking display than Moto E7 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a much better screen pixels density.
Moto E7 Plus counts with a much better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Moto E7 Plus also has faster video frame rate, a way larger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a back facing camera with lot more megapixels and a way larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photography.
Motorola Moto E7 Plus counts with a greater memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Motorola Moto E7 Plus has better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
