The Motorola Edge 40 has a score of 77.2, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto E7 Plus's overall score of 75.7. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Motorola Edge 40 has newer 13 version and Motorola Moto E7 Plus has Android 10 version. The Motorola Edge 40 construction is much newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Motorola Moto E7 Plus.

The Motorola Edge 40 features a way better screen than Moto E7 Plus, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a better pixel count in each inch in the screen. The Motorola Moto E7 Plus features a really superior processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.

Motorola Edge 40 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Moto E7 Plus, because it has a lot bigger sensor which provides a much better image and video quality, a lot better (4K) video quality, a larger camera aperture to take better low-light photos and videos and a camera in the back with more megapixels.

Moto E7 Plus features more storage capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Motorola Moto E7 Plus has just a bit better battery duration than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4400mAh.
