Samsung Galaxy A40 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto E7 Plus, having a 79.6 score against 75.7. Although the Samsung Galaxy A40 is older than Motorola Moto E7 Plus, it's construction is somewhat thinner and extremely lighter. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A40 has the newer 11 version and Motorola Moto E7 Plus has Android 10 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features and better performance.
Galaxy A40 counts with a more vivid display than Motorola Moto E7 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher number of pixels per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px. The Galaxy A40's CPU is just as good as the CPU in Moto E7 Plus, both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM.
Galaxy A40 counts with as much memory capacity for games and applications as the Motorola Moto E7 Plus, both of them have a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and exactly the same internal storage capacity. Moto E7 Plus has a way better battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 61 percent greater battery capacity.
Motorola Moto E7 Plus captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Motorola Moto E7 Plus also has a back camera with a much higher resolution, a much bigger sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photographs and better 60 fps video frame rate.
