Xiaomi Redmi 5 is slightly better than Motorola Moto G, getting a global score of 67.2 against 61.2. Even though Xiaomi Redmi 5 is just a little heavier than the Motorola Moto G, it's way thinner and also newer. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi 5 has 7.1 Nougat version and Motorola Moto G has Android 5.0 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features.

Motorola Moto G has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi 5, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Redmi 5 has a bit superior processor than Moto G, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Motorola Moto G, because it has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi 5 takes greater photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G, because it has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels and a lot higher (Full HD) video definition.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 features a much better battery duration than Moto G, because it has a 59% bigger battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 is also a lot cheaper, which makes this phone a great choice.
