Moto E4 Plus is slightly better than the Moto G (2014), getting a 67.6 score against 61.7. Moto E4 Plus's construction is notably newer and thinner than Moto G (2014)'s, but it's somewhat heavier. Moto G (2014) has a much better looking display than Motorola Moto E4 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 720 resolution, the Moto G (2014) also counts with a little higher display density.

The Moto G (2014) features just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto E4 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Moto G (2014) also counts with an additional GPU. The Moto E4 Plus shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G (2014), and although they both have the same aperture, the Moto E4 Plus also has a camera with way more MP and a lot higher video definition.

The Moto E4 Plus counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Moto G (2014), because it has 32 GB internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 128 GB. Motorola Moto E4 Plus has a much better battery life than Motorola Moto G (2014), because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
