Xperia XA is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G (2014), having a score of 67.9 against 61.7. The Xperia XA design is newer, just a bit lighter and a lot thinner than Motorola Moto G (2014). The Xperia XA has a little better hardware performance than Moto G (2014), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM and more CPU cores.

The Motorola Moto G (2014) features a little more vivid display than Xperia XA. Both have the same amount of pixels per screen inch, the same exact 1280 x 720 resolution and a same size screen. The Sony Xperia XA has a way bigger storage for applications and games than Motorola Moto G (2014), because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 200 GB and 8 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Xperia XA features a bit superior battery life than Motorola Moto G (2014), because it has a 2300mAh battery capacity. Moto G (2014) has just a bit better camera than Xperia XA, although it has a back camera with way less mega pixels, they both have a F2 aperture.
