Xperia XA is a little bit better than the Moto G (2014), getting a score of 67.9 against 61.7. The Xperia XA is a newer device, and it's also noticeably thinner and just a little lighter than Moto G (2014). Moto G (2014) features just a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia XA. Both of them have the same pixels density, a display of the same size and an equal resolution of 1280 x 720.

Sony Xperia XA counts with a little faster processor than Moto G (2014), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.
