Moto G Play has a global score of 71.3, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G (2015)'s overall score of 65.2. Although Moto G Play is notably heavier than the Motorola Moto G (2015), it's extremely thinner and extremely newer. Motorola Moto G (2015) counts with a better looking display than Motorola Moto G Play, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 720 and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixel density.

The Moto G Play has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Moto G (2015), because it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage capacity. Moto G Play has a faster CPU than Moto G (2015), because it has more CPU cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

Moto G Play takes clearer photos and videos than Motorola Moto G (2015), and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, a F2 aperture and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Moto G Play also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rate. The Motorola Moto G Play features a much better battery duration than Moto G (2015), because it has a 5000mAh battery size.

Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Motorola Moto G Play is also a bargain compared to the other ones, which makes it an obvious call.
