Moto G 5G Plus is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone, getting an 82.6 score against 77.1. The Moto G 5G Plus design is newer than Asus ROG Phone's, but it's just a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier. The Asus ROG Phone counts with a bit more powerful processor than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

Asus ROG Phone has just a bit better looking screen than Moto G 5G Plus, although it has a bit smaller display, a just a bit lower pixel density and a bit lower 1080 x 2160 resolution. Moto G 5G Plus shoots much better photographs and videos than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Moto G 5G Plus also counts with a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a bigger aperture.

Asus ROG Phone has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. The Moto G 5G Plus counts with greater battery lifetime than Asus ROG Phone, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
