The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a general score of 90.9, which is much better than the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus's score of 82.6. Despite being the best we are comparing here, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro body is a bit heavier and a bit thicker than the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a bit better screen than Moto G 5G Plus, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch of display, a little bit bigger display and a slightly higher 1334 x 2772 resolution.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little bit better hardware performance than Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a slightly bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
Motorola Moto G 5G Plus features just a little bit longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Huawei Mate 40 Pro captures clearer videos and photos than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality pictures, a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels and faster video frame rate.
