The Galaxy M40 is a little bit better than Moto G 5G Plus, getting an 85 score against 82.6. The Galaxy M40 design is somewhat lighter and thinner than the Moto G 5G Plus, although it was released just 13 months before. Galaxy M40 has a screen that's just as good as Moto G 5G Plus's display, and although the Galaxy M40 has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit smaller screen, they both have the same pixels density.
The Moto G 5G Plus features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M40, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Motorola Moto G 5G Plus counts with a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3500mAh. The Moto G 5G Plus counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a same size aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the Moto G 5G Plus also has a lot larger sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality and a much higher 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
