Samsung Galaxy S20 has an overall score of 94.8, which is much better than Moto G 5G Plus's overall score of 82.6. Samsung Galaxy S20's body is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter than Moto G 5G Plus, even though both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. The Galaxy S20 counts with a little better hardware performance than Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S20 also has 8 GB more RAM memory.

The Galaxy S20 has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and more pixels per inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy S20 features a bigger storage to install applications and games than Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has 128 GB internal storage.

The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S20, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. The Moto G 5G Plus captures slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S20, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor which gives a worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Moto G 5G Plus also counts with a camera with much more megapixels, better 30 fps video frame rates and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light captures and video.
