Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 87.4, which is just a bit better than the Moto G 5G Plus's overall score of 82.6. Although Galaxy S6 is notably older than the Moto G 5G Plus, it's construction is noticeably lighter and notably thinner. Galaxy S6 features a lot better screen than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch of display and a little bit higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.

The Moto G 5G Plus features a much better memory for applications and games than Galaxy S6, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Galaxy S6 features a bit more powerful processor than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a graphics processor and a 64 bits CPU.

The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus also has a way larger sensor which gives a much better photo and video quality, a bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited environments and a back-facing camera with a way better resolution.

The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 2550mAh.
