The Moto G 5G Plus is a bit better than Galaxy S8, with an 82.6 score against 81.7. Moto G 5G Plus's body is way newer, but notably heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy S8. The Galaxy S8 has a processing unit that is just as good as Motorola Moto G 5G Plus's processor, both have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
Samsung Galaxy S8 has a little bit better screen than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels quantity in each screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px. The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus also has a much better 48 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Moto G 5G Plus counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Moto G 5G Plus also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB. The Moto G 5G Plus has a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
