Moto G 5G Plus has a general score of 82.6, which is a little bit better than Xperia XZ2 Compact's 79 global score. Moto G 5G Plus's construction is way newer and way thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Xperia XZ2 Compact. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a brighter display than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a much smaller screen and a bit lower 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel amount per inch in the display.

Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit better CPU than Moto G 5G Plus. Both have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM memory amount.
