The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus is slightly better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium, having a general score of 82.6 against 82.2. The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus is a newer device, and it is also a lot thinner and somewhat lighter than Xperia XZ2 Premium. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit superior processor than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better display than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per display inch and a lot better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus features a bigger memory to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1000 GB.
The Moto G 5G Plus counts with a much better battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 41 percent more battery size. The Moto G 5G Plus takes much better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Moto G 5G Plus also has a back camera with much more mega pixels, a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos.
