Xiaomi Mi 9 is slightly better than Moto G 5G Plus, getting an 83.2 score against 82.6. Although Xiaomi Mi 9 is older than the Moto G 5G Plus, it's construction is somewhat lighter and thinner. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a slightly better display than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, although it has a little smaller screen, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus counts with a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Moto G 5G Plus counts with a superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 52% more battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same back camera sensor size, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with faster video frame rate.
