The Moto G 5G has a general score of 81.5, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 overall score. The Moto G 5G design is extremely newer, but heavier and notably thicker than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but the Moto G 5G has the older 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a higher pixel amount per inch of screen. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little bit better hardware performance than Moto G 5G, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has more RAM memory.
The Motorola Moto G 5G takes much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Moto G 5G also has a lot bigger camera aperture and a back camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution.
Motorola Moto G 5G features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 1000 GB. Motorola Moto G 5G has superior battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
