The Moto G 5G has an overall score of 81.5, which is slightly better than Huawei P40 Lite's score of 79.5. Both phones in this review have the same Android 10 OS. Moto G 5G's design is newer, but somewhat heavier and thicker than the Huawei P40 Lite. Huawei P40 Lite counts with a bit better screen than Motorola Moto G 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch.
Moto G 5G counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Huawei P40 Lite has a little faster processor than Moto G 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Moto G 5G features better battery duration than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. The Moto G 5G has a little bit better camera than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 48 MP resolution, the Moto G 5G also has a much better (4K) video resolution and a bigger camera aperture.
