The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a global score of 83.4, which is just a bit better than the Moto G 5G's 81.5 score. Motorola Edge 40 Pro is a a lot newer phone, and it's also somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than the Moto G 5G. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the newer 13 version while Moto G 5G has Android 10 version, providing the user a couple additional features and some performance improvements.
The Moto G 5G features a much more powerful CPU than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G 5G.
