The Moto G 5G has an overall score of 81.5, which is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G9 Power's score of 78.6. The Moto G 5G construction is a little bit lighter but a little thicker than the Motorola Moto G9 Power, and both were released with only 0 months difference. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 10 operating system.
The Motorola Moto G 5G has a much better screen than Motorola Moto G9 Power, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a higher amount of pixels per screen inch. Moto G9 Power has just a bit more storage for applications and games than Moto G 5G, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows 488 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Moto G 5G counts with just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G9 Power. Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Motorola Moto G9 Power features better battery performance than Moto G 5G, because it has a 6000mAh battery size. The Moto G 5G shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Moto G9 Power, because although it has a lot worse resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a larger aperture to take better low-light photography.
