Comparison review
Moto G 5G has a global score of 81.5, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's general score of 77.7. Moto G 5G's design is heavier and notably thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Moto G 5G has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a bit more powerful processor than Moto G 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a greater amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto G 5G, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2280 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch.
Moto G 5G counts with a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Motorola Moto G 5G has a very superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3350mAh.
The Moto G 5G takes better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Moto G 5G also has a bigger camera aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a way more MP back-facing camera.
