Comparison review

The LG G5 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G Fast, with a overall score of 76.1 against 72.2. These devices come with Android operating system, but LG G5 has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Motorola Moto G Fast has Android 11 version, so it gives some extra features. The LG G5 design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Motorola Moto G Fast, despite of the fact that it was released 4 years before.

The LG G5 has a much better display than Motorola Moto G Fast, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a lot better quantity of pixels per inch of display. LG G5 features a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto G Fast, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG G5 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.

The Moto G Fast has a little bit better performance than LG G5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores (but slower). The Moto G Fast features a way better battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 43% more battery size. Motorola Moto G Fast and LG G5 have very similar cameras, because although the LG G5 has a tinier aperture which is worse for shooting photographs and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a camera in the back with a 16 mega-pixels resolution and the same video frame rate, it also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality photographs.

Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto G Fast, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G Fast. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Motorola Moto G Fast, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
