Microsoft Surface Duo is a little bit better than the Moto G Fast, with a general score of 78.8 against 72.2. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Microsoft Surface Duo has the older 10 version while Moto G Fast has Android 11. Although the Microsoft Surface Duo and the Moto G Fast were released only a couple of months apart, Microsoft Surface Duo's design is a lot heavier but extremely thinner.
The Microsoft Surface Duo features a little faster CPU than Motorola Moto G Fast, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has a larger amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Duo features a sharper display than Moto G Fast, because it has a greater display pixel density, a way higher resolution of 1800 x 2700 and a larger screen.
The Microsoft Surface Duo has slightly more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto G Fast, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Moto G Fast features a superior camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Moto G Fast also counts with a bigger aperture and a back camera with a way better 16 MP resolution.
Moto G Fast features just a little better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a 12 percent larger battery size.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto G Fast, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G Fast. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Moto G Fast, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
