Motorola Edge (2024) is just a bit better than the Moto G Fast, having a general score of 78.5 against 72.2. Motorola Edge (2024) is a a lot newer device, and it is also a little bit lighter and thinner than Moto G Fast. These devices have Android operating system, but Motorola Edge (2024) has a newer 14 version while Moto G Fast has Android 11 version, providing you a couple additional features.
The Motorola Edge (2024) features a way better looking display than Motorola Moto G Fast, because it has a much higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a higher screen density and a little bit bigger display. Motorola Edge (2024) features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G Fast, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Motorola Moto G Fast features a much better performing processor than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge (2024) counts with just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto G Fast, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing images and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge (2024) also counts with a way larger back camera sensor capturing much better quality photographs and a way higher 50 MP resolution back camera.
Motorola Edge (2024) has greater battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G Fast, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
Although Motorola Edge (2024) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G Fast, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G Fast. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Moto G Fast, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
