Comparison review

The Galaxy Alpha has an overall score of 76.3, which is a little bit better than Moto G Fast's 72.2 general score. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but Galaxy Alpha has a more recent 4.4.4 version while Moto G Fast has Android 11, giving you a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. Galaxy Alpha is a way lighter and noticeably thinner device than the Moto G Fast.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a better looking display than Motorola Moto G Fast, because although it has a way smaller screen and a bit worse 1280 x 720 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater display pixels density. The Moto G Fast has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Moto G Fast also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a little better processing power than Motorola Moto G Fast, because although it has 4 lesser cpu cores (but faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Motorola Moto G Fast counts with a much better battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Moto G Fast features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Moto G Fast also has a way higher resolution back camera and a way bigger aperture to capture better photography in low light environments.

Although Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto G Fast, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto G Fast. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Motorola Moto G Fast, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
