The Samsung Galaxy S9 is better than the Motorola Moto G Fast, getting a general score of 83.3 against 72.2. Although the Samsung Galaxy S9 is much older than Motorola Moto G Fast, it's construction is a little bit thinner and lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a bit better hardware performance than Moto G Fast, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy S9 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Moto G Fast, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels count per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960px.
