Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is better than Moto G Fast, having an 82.6 score against 72.2. Xperia 1 is an older cellphone than the Moto G Fast, but it is somewhat thinner and just a little bit lighter anyway. Xperia 1 counts with an incredibly better looking display than Motorola Moto G Fast, because it has a bit bigger display, a lot greater count of pixels per display inch and a much higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 features a little faster CPU than Moto G Fast, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Motorola Moto G Fast has just a bit better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for taking photographs or video in low-light situations and a tinier back camera sensor taking worse quality photos and videos, and they both have the same video definition, the Motorola Moto G Fast also counts with a camera in the back with way more MP and faster 30 fps video frame rates.
The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Moto G Fast, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 1 also has 128 GB internal memory. The Moto G Fast features longer battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Moto G Fast, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto G Fast. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Moto G Fast, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
