Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a bit better than Moto G Fast, getting a score of 79 against 72.2. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Moto G Fast were only released 2 months apart, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's construction is a bit heavier but just a bit thinner. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 operating system, so both of them should provide you all the same operating system features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a much better looking screen than Moto G Fast, because it has a higher pixel density, a little larger display and a way higher 1080 x 2400px resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has just a little better performance than Moto G Fast, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto G Fast, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has more internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has improved battery lifetime than Moto G Fast, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a better camera than Motorola Moto G Fast, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a much bigger sensor and a much better 48 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S costs more money than Moto G Fast, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
