LG G3 is a little bit better than Moto G Play, with a 76.4 score against 71.3. The LG G3 is an noticeably older phone than Moto G Play, but LG could make it a little bit thinner and extremely lighter anyway. LG G3 has just a little better processing power than Moto G Play, because although it has lesser CPU cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the LG G3 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.

The LG G3 features a much sharper screen than Moto G Play, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater display density and a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Motorola Moto G Play has a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G3, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto G Play also has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB.

The Motorola Moto G Play has a much better battery life than LG G3, because it has a 67 percent greater battery size. The LG G3 counts with a little bit better camera than Moto G Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for shooting photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same resolution camera, the LG G3 also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger camera sensor.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, LG G3 is also cheap compared to the Motorola Moto G Play, making it an easy choice.
