Sony Xperia Z5 has a score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G Power (2021)'s 76.5 overall score. Despite of the fact that the Sony Xperia Z5 is much older than the Motorola Moto G Power (2021), it's construction is a lot lighter and much thinner. The Xperia Z5 features just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G Power (2021), because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
The Xperia Z5 features a way better display than Moto G Power (2021), because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher pixels count per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The Moto G Power (2021) captures clearer photos and videos than Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Moto G Power (2021) also has a bigger camera aperture for better photos in poorly lited environments, higher 60 frames per second video frame rates, a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a larger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality.
The Motorola Moto G Power (2021) counts with a way bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has 32 GB more internal memory and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G Power (2021) has a really longer battery life than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Moto G Power (2021), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto G Power (2021). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia Z5, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G Power (2021), giving up a couple features and specifications.
