Huawei Mate 8 is slightly better than Moto G Power 5G (2024), getting a global score of 77.4 against 73. Huawei Mate 8's design is just a bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than Moto G Power 5G (2024), despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2024), although it has a little smaller display, a just a little inferior amount of pixels per inch of screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

Moto G Power 5G (2024) captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a bigger aperture to take better low light photography and video. Moto G Power 5G (2024) has improved battery duration than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
